Common Uses Cistus Essential Oil, Rock Rose / Labdanum, is well known for its meditative effect where it is said to slow the mind for deeper concentration. In Aromatherapy this oil is used in anti-aging skin care as well as to slow bleeding and is a favorite in these applications.

Traditionally, cistus has been used for respiratory support.
